Ian Lester

Ian Lester has over a decade of experience working alongside SoundThinking. During that time, he has managed ShotSpotter deployments and the integration with other technologies, including drones and Eye-in-the-Sky services. He oversaw and managed ShotSpotter deployments in Kruger National Park, Cape Town, and Nelson Mandela Bay. Ian is considered an expert on drones and related surveillance technologies and their integration with ShotSpotter. In addition to his SoundThinking responsibilities, Ian founded Beyond Wireless, an IOT company focused on integrating technologies in the public health and public safety sectors. Example clients include the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Pan American Healthcare Organization.
